I am a guy with a camera who likes taking photos. In this blog i will share interesting stories related to my photos, technical aspects of it, some behind the scene stories and more...
Photography do not always require the most expensive equipments or lens or camera, sometimes it only requires a certain about of creativity and the passion to try something different. Today I used a pack of matchstick , few LED lights and my camera to create matchstick art photography. Matchsticks can be manipulated in numerable ways, only thing required is a bit of creativity(a a bit of gum). They can be given human like shape and placed in such a way as to create a story. I used the LEDs just to give an extra special touch, if LEDs are not available even candles can be used. This is taken from my Nikon d3300, aperture:1.8, shutter speed: 1/4th of a second, iso 100. That's it try it yourself the possibilities are endless....
Aperture: f-1.8, shutter speed: 1/6th, iso:100 To get awesome bokeh like this you require a lens with a wide open aperture like a 1.8, the subject should be far away from the background and focus should be done precisely on the subject blowing out the background. Try it yourself and get creative....
Sometimes it requires only one perfect shot to make you realise that ,yes even you can can do it. That is what happened to me.. One fine winter morning this dragon fly was sitting by my window, any other day I would have neglected it but that day I took my phone(didn't had a camera then) went close to it and took the shot. Its not an awesome photo but for me it was perfect,it made me happy. That day I showed it to almost everyone I met and got some compliments too. From then on photography became a part of my life And that was,my inspiring shot.
